Your first visit to our orthodontic office is an exciting time! It's a chance for us to get acquainted and for you to learn about the treatments and services we offer.
When you walk through our door, you may notice that our office looks similar to your regular dentist's office, but what we do here is a bit different. It all starts with an easy first consultation with Dr. Michael Reid.
Your First Visit
You should plan to spend at least one hour with us during your first visit so you aren’t rushed while we answer your questions. You’ll be greeted by one of our receptionists before meeting your patient coordinator, who will show you around the office.
Then, we’ll begin the exam. On your first day, a big part of Dr. Reid’s job is finding out if you need orthodontic treatment and when it’d be best to start.
Besides examining your teeth, we may also ask questions like whether your jaws make noise when opening or closing or if you have any problems chewing or swallowing.
This information helps Dr. Reid make a proper diagnosis and finalize a treatment plan at your first visit to Form Orthodontics.
